Chinatown Master Plan 2020

Chinatown CLT and Metropolitan Area Planning Council anchored a participatory community planning process in 2018-2019 for the community’s own master plan, supplementing PLAN: Downtown with Chinatown's vision and development priorities. The document was published in June 2020.

Important next steps are:

• Continued work on affordable housing development and preservation

• Proposals for Chinatown zoning amendments

• A plan to support Chinatown businesses

• Creation of a Historic and Cultural District

• Proposing new guidelines for what makes a healthy community
