Immigrant History Trail - Boston College Student Exhibition
Please join us in a student exhibition on the Immigrant History Trail in Boston’s Chinatown at the Pao Arts Center on May 2. This exhibition will feature the research by Boston College students in the course “Making American Landscapes: Building and Living in Asian America,” a community-engaged course in collaboration with the Chinatown Community Land Trust.
Big Fight in Little Chinatown Screening and Panel
This Saturday, our Executive Director Lydia Lowe will appear on the discussion panel with Director Karen Cho after the screening of her film Big Fight in Little Chinatown.
Big Fight in Little Chinatown is a story of community resistance and resilience. Set against the backdrop of the COVID pandemic and an unprecedented rise in anti-Asian racism, the documentary takes us into the lives of residents, businesses, and community organizers whose neighborhoods are facing active erasure.

Chinatown and Leather District residents, volleyball players, and skate boarders will gather at the Reggie Wong Memorial Park on Kneeland Street to support Friends of Reggie Wong Park in obtaining community control of the park and progressing with its improvements.

The Block Party raises awareness about stabilizing Chinatown’s land, housing, and environment through fun games and activities. Envisioning the Tomorrow of the Chinatown Library 展望唐人街圖書館的未來
At the “Envisioning the Tomorrow of the Chinatown Library” event hosted by @asiancdc, we showcased FOCL’s 2-decade long struggle for bringing a library to Chinatown, presented our vision for establish a community-owned park alongside the new library on Parcel R1, and gathered lettering & signatures for advocacy.
