Donuts with Delegates 與代表共進下午茶

Last month, Chinatown CLT and ACDC teamed up for a 'Donuts with Delegates' event featuring Representative Michlewitz. Chinatown residents came together to advocate for critical community initiatives, including:
* Enacting the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA) to maintain affordable rent levels and prevent displacement.
* Expanding the Small Properties Acquisition Fund to help affordable housing buyers acquire buildings at risk from speculative pressures.
* Implementing a transfer fee and creating a brownfield redevelopment fund.
* Supporting community programs that empower youth and working-class immigrant families through the Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC).
* Remediating and improving Reggie Wong Park.
* Sustaining funding for homeownership education and foreclosure prevention counseling to tackle the racial wealth gap.
